Angela Ashton

Angela founded Evergreen in 2016 and is ultimately responsible for all investment activities at Evergreen. Angela has 30 years’ experience in investment markets. She has held senior investment roles at QIC, was Head of Ratings at van Eyk Research and General Manager, Managed Funds Research at IWL Ltd (now CommSec). She has contributed to the industry through serving on a number of education committees with groups such as Kaplan and the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).

Dr Peter Mavromatis

An investment professional with over 20 years of experience across the financial market spectrum, Mav was Chief Investment Officer at Beulah Capital until March 2017. After a hiatus exploring the globe, he joined Evergreen in October 2018. Prior to this, Mav's positions included Macro Strategist and Head of Research at Investorfirst Ltd and Senior Investment Analyst and General Manager – Equities Research at IWL Ltd (CommSec). Mav was also Research Fellow at the Centre of Policy Studies, where he made key contributions to forecast validation of USAGE – a dynamic computable general equilibrium model of the US economy.

Brad Bugg

Brad has nearly 30 years of experience in financial markets, both domestically and overseas, gaining a deep understanding of markets, portfolio construction, asset allocation, manager selection and sustainable investing. Most recently Brad was at Morningstar Investment Management for 13 years where he was responsible for the development and day-to-day management of the multi asset managed account program, as well as leading the firm’s research efforts across fixed income and alternatives markets and strategies. Brad has also spent time at a number of sell-side firms in Sydney and London focussing on fixed income strategies, primarily credit markets.

Tony Kofkin

Tony Kofkin has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as a Director at Kofkin Bond & Co., where he oversees the firm's Private Wealth and Not-For-Profit services, driving both financial growth and community impact. His passion for financial literacy and commitment to philanthropy have importantly shaped the firm's success and its outreach in giving back to the community.

In addition to his work at Kofkin Bond & Co., Tony has held director roles at several notable not-for-profit organisations, including Carry On and the Open Futures Foundation NFP, where his strategic leadership has driven meaningful contributions to social causes. Beyond his philanthropic endeavors, Tony plays key roles such as a director and founding shareholder in several innovative ventures, such as Musecol, Telemidi, and Saver Global. His expertise and entrepreneurial spirit have established him as a global thought leader, sought after to share his insights at esteemed events across the United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, and beyond, with organizations like HSBC and AIA frequently seeking his counsel.

Outside the office, Tony is an avid reader of non-fiction books, a sports fanatic, lover of theatre, movies, international travel and live music - secretly wishing he was the lead singer of U2! (you’re safe Bono!)

Jordan Odd

Jordan Odd is a Financial Adviser at Kofkin Bond & Co, working with individuals and families to build, protect, and manage their wealth with clarity and confidence. He focuses on delivering practical, goal-driven strategies across areas including wealth creation, superannuation, personal risk protection, SMSFs, and estate planning.

Jordan holds a Master of Financial Planning and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning, and he successfully completed the FASEA exam in 2023. Known for his calm, methodical approach, Jordan specialises in supporting young professionals looking to accelerate wealth-building, families seeking financial certainty, and clients navigating complex or transitional stages of life.

Within Kofkin Bond & Co, Jordan works closely with the firm’s technical and implementation teams to deliver high-quality advice outcomes and contributes to strategic decision-making as a member of the Investment Committee.

Before entering financial services, Jordan served in the Australian Defence Force as a rifleman, developing the discipline and problem-solving mindset that underpin his work today. Outside the office, he runs a small gardening and landscaping business, stays active with basketball and soccer, and is a keen reader and Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast.

Vaughan Smith

Vaughan Smith is a passionate Financial Adviser at Kofkin Bond & Co. Since starting his career in the Financial Services industry in 2018, Vaughan has developed a strong foundation in financial planning, combining his technical expertise with a deep commitment to empowering clients to make informed decisions and achieve lasting financial success. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance from Monash University, and went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional.

Vaughan’s authorisation spans a wide range of financial advice areas, including superannuation, life insurance, managed investment schemes, securities, and government bonds. He takes a personalised approach to each client, focusing on their unique financial goals, tailoring strategies to help them build wealth and secure their future so they can enjoy a comfortable retirement. His deep understanding of financial products, combined with a commitment to delivering clear and practical advice, ensures that his clients are well-supported throughout their financial journeys.

Outside of work, Vaughan enjoys staying active with his Sunday cycling sessions, where he takes to the roads for a dose of fresh air. A passionate sports fan, he avidly follows the Brisbane Lions in the AFL, and his love for Formula 1 often sees him staying up into the early hours to catch every race. Vaughan is also a keen cricket enthusiast and enjoys both watching and playing the sport. His love for adventure extends beyond sports, as he recently spent time traveling through South America, exploring its diverse cultures and landscapes.
