Key Points (Achievements)

  • Family Business: Assisted three brothers in a family owned business turning over $600mill implement a shareholder’s agreement, a succession plan to include the second generation whilst securing the protection of the family owned business from divorce or matrimonial affairs. We were able to obtain substantial insurance coverage on all 9 family members in the business and help them manage in excess of $12mill in liquid assets through different legal entities including Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and Family Trusts.
  • Health and Wellness: Helped a law firm implement a Health and Wellness program for their 120 employees. This helps ensure the health and wellness of their employees in personal areas of their lives, like relationships, health, diet etc. As part of this program, through our specially designed Life Tracker software, we were able to help the firm’s employees address personal areas of concern in finance including debt, superannuation, personal wealth, property investments, wills and estate planning plus accounting. This helped all the employees know exactly where they are in terms of their finances and put a plan of action in place to help them manage their personal wealth.
  • SMSF (Investing): Helped numerous business owners and clients purchase property including residential investments and business premises through their Self-Managed Superannuation Funds.

Focus Areas

Tony’s focus areas are working with business owners and company directors {$1mill-$500mill t/o} to ensure that they are in conjunction with other professionals, maximizing the wealth management and estate planning through appropriate structures and putting programs in place for their valued employees.

“I’m a passionate advocate for clients dealing direct where possible thus cutting out unnecessary fees such as fund managers etc. As a result, we strive to ensure that we have no conflicts of interest in our business. As we are not owned by a product provider like 85% of our peers are, we are not conflicted in the advice we provide and are a strategy based wealth management and protection firm. Meaning that strategy always comes first, and thus we aim to implement what is in the best interest of our clients at all times.”

Business Profile

Tony works in conjunction with numerous lawyers, accountants, business advisors and Venture Capitalist firms in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

He is in charge of the strategic direction of the firm, managing the firm’s advisors and Is a member of the Kofkin Bond & Co Advisory Board.

Tony also is part of the Advisory Boards of several client’s businesses.

In conjunction with Ben Simon and Jo Walters, Tony is a founding member of the FBN. Through the FBN’s collaboration with other professionals in the field of law, accounting, venture capital, business advisory, finance, equity raising, large scale property projects and employee engagement through health and wellness and Keynote conference speakers, Tony brings an entirely new perspective, contacts and knowledge to business clients and their boards.
